From S/Sgt Charles Restifo’s Autobiography (page 114):
In between the bombing of Hiroshima and the signing of the surrender our mission was to record conditions in the city and surrounding areas including the Daichi (the Japanese Parliament), the Imperial Hotel used by the Japanese for offices and General Headquarters.
